How to get to and around Florence

Parking in Florence:

Here you can find daily parking in the center of Florence, which I recommend booking: https://www.myparking.it/ Parking in the center of Florence is quite expensive, requiring rates from 30.00 to 40.00 euros/day.

The cheapest parking is the Villa Costanza Parking which is located outside Florence and can be reached directly by motorway, here you can find info and rates: https://parcheggiovillacostanza.it/it/parcheggio-villa-costanza/villa-costanza/auto/
To reach the apartment from the Villa Costanza Parking you have to take the Tramway T1 and get off at the “Unità” stop, then go to the “Stazione Via Panzani” bus stop 100 meters away and take the Bus C2 Piazza Beccaria and get off after 6 stops at Malborghetto. In 2 minutes you will be at the apartment (about 300 meters)

You can also park at the airport, the parking I recommend is Fly Parking which you can book online https://www.flyparkingfirenze.com/. Then to go to the apartment follow the directions from Peretola Airport or take a Taxi.

How to get to the apartment:

From Florence Peretola Airport
Take the T2 tram and get off at the “Unità” stop (twelfth stop), then go to the “Stazione Via Panzani” bus stop 100 meters away and take the C2 Piazza Beccaria Bus and get off after 6 stops at Malborghetto. In 2 minutes you will be at the apartment (about 300 meters)

From Florence S.M.N. Central Station
From Via Panzani Station (3 minutes walk from the S.M.N. Central Station) take the C2 Piazza Beccaria Bus and get off after 6 stops at Malborghetto. In 2 minutes you will be at the apartment (about 300 mt.)

Tram and Bus in Florence:
the tram and bus ticket can be purchased from the AT-Bus app downloadable on Android and Apple that I strongly recommend you use. But you can also pay directly on board with a debit, credit or prepaid card, as well as with enabled digital wallets, from a smartphone or smartwatch. Or even with an SMS by writing the message “Firenze” to the number 4880105. The ticket costs 1.70 euros and is valid for 90 minutes on both the bus and the tram.
The ticket must be validated through the front ticket machine on board the vehicle, from that moment the ticket will be valid for 90 minutes on the Bus and Tram.
